We are considering purchasing an inflatable dinghy in lieu of the Livingston we currently own. We have snap davits on the swim platform of our cruiser and the dinghy and this system has worked very well with the rigid fiberglass dinghy. Is this same system a good option with an inflatable? We are looking at Achilles, Zodiac and Avon in the 9'4" range. It seem as though most people either tow the dinghies or stow them on the hardtop of their big boat. We have a 13'5" beam on the cruiser so width wouldn't be an issue. Any opinions or comments will be much appreciated.
