Is there software available- mac or pc- to enter waypoints (or better chart a course) and then transfer everything to a Garmin chartplotter?

Which Garmin?
I home been doing this for years the program changed i believe homeport is still current for about $20.
You need to be able to copy your map card in order to use it or at least that's how i do it. Works great easy to use!

It is part of the echoMAP™ series. I just forget which model. Less than 1 year old. Thanks for any help.
