I will be keeping my boat indoors on rack storage. The place putting the outdrive back on shrink-wrapped it after I had decided against it and cancelled the shrinkwrap.

So I was told for the indoor storage I should cut a lot of ventilation holes in the shrinkwrap and add several containers of Damp Rid.

I certainly do not want to find mildew in the cockpit or cabin in the spring.

So how much ventilation and how many of the large containers of Damp Rid in cockpit or cabin?

Heated indoor? I think you’ll be fine. Temp should be consistent all winter. Cut a couple of holes at each end for air flow.

Not heated. Sussex County DE
Then I would treat it like it was outside. A few vents installed and 1 or 2 buckets of damp rid inside depending on how big your boat is. You won't have the sun heating it up, but will have the change in temps.

Too make the Damp-Rid go futher I always mixed it with kitty litter. On our Mainship I would scatter 6 shoe box sized containers around the boat. Every spring there would be around 2" of water in those containers. This was outside, shrinked in NE Ohio
Good luck
Niles

So what would be best as far as least humidity and mildew. Outside, shrinkwrap with a few vents and sun hitting the shrinkwrap or inside unheated, shrinkwrap with many vents, several containers of Damp Rid.

If your boat is shrink wrapped, why pay for indoor storage?

I am going to keep it on indoor rack storage for the summer 2022 boating season, keeping it there for the winter is not much extra. I cannot keep it at my house.
