I just picked up the new boat after having electric over hydaulic brakes installed (converting the surge brakes over). Towed it back from Sacramento. Man! I should have done this on my past large boat. How nice. Fully adjustable, and no trailer brakes applied unless the brake pedal is pushed.
Now I can go to Shelter Cove or other places that have steep downgrades and not burn the crap out of my brakes. How nice...
