I've got a 5L Mercruiser (220 hp). I would like to get as much out of this engine as possible. How much power and where would the power (top end or low end?) be if I upgraded in the intake and carb? Also, any recommendations on what combinations. Is the increase marginal and not worth the expense and headache of tuning the new carb?
