Would the Shark River Inlet and Belmar be a better choice?

Either Shark River or Manasquan would be better choices. There is still a problem area in Little Egg as you round Holgate (the south end of LBI). 114 is tough and the shoal moves faster than they can remark the channel. If you can come in on a rising tide and take it slow LEI is ok, just keep in mind the north side shoal from almost the KEI Bell to the ICW goes out well past 2 miles into the inlet/ocean.

Britanic - was 38 out of position? looked south of where it should have been when we brought my brother-in-laws boat in a couple weeks back.
