Is it Spring yet?

This cold just does not want to let go. Forget about cutting shrink, I have not even bothered to take the top tarp off!!
Crazy!! Butch, Caryl is usually a busy beaver this time of year getting the boat ready for you. With all this down time I hope you are keeping her busy with lots of house projects. :)
Give her our love! See you guys soon!

Use a couple of 2x4's to hold up your frame. In the future, don't uncover so soon.

Just supporting the frame will not be enough I will have to support the canvas as well I'm thinking I will use plywood to hold the canvas up as well as prop the bars.

Last year I was in the water by this time. I was really hoping to get a jump on some of the repairs pulling the cover was a necessary step in the procedure. Sometimes things just don't go as planned that's why we need a plan "B". Worst case I will replace my entire top it's on my to do list but I was hoping to get another year or two. I have already been on the fence and have even gotten quotes to have it done. So this it not the end of the world just frustrating for sure. I want to launch and get on with the boating season!

OK I think I'm ready for this snow which can only mean that it's not going to snow and I good with that!

If you didn't support the cover it would have snowed so thanks for doing that! So now that it won't snow I might be able to do some work Tuesday :-)

Dave thanks for working so hard on your cover, thanks to you it didn't snow!!! Have the day off today, will try to get some more work done.

I knew it would work! Now the big question is are we done yet?

Who is uncovering when? I'm hoping to start cleaning over the weekend, it's time to get to work and get serious about this. I'm hoping to be ready in about three weeks!

Starting today, Patino suppose to remove winter cover today and install my camper. Have the day off so hoping to be able to start somewhere. Hope to be launched by the end of April! All depends if I remove the platform or not.

Was at the boat for a few hours, cleaned the trim tabs and make ready to bottom paint, taped the hull around the boat so I can start bottom paint this weekend, sanded around the areas which need touch ups and lastly applied 3M filler to the scratches in the bottom of the boat I got I Sandy from some floating outboard engine. Feel like a man agin!!!

I went up to the boat, thought about removing the cover, decided against it, and came back home.

I'm thinking of taking the cover off today...

Thinking about it is one thing, actually doing it is another.

Winter cover is off, mooring cover is on.

We have a seal living in our marina.

I haven't seen him in a few years but he used to come every spring and hang out for a while if it's the same one of course. There used to be a picture of him sunbathing on the dock hanging in TZ Marine not sure if it's still there Sandy destroyed a lot of things.

I was hoping to get up to the boat today but I'm beat and ready for bed and it's only 5pm.
