Is there a D.C. boat show this year?

I've never been and have access to a couple of places to stay in Farifax and near the Pentagram. I can't find anything on it for 2014.

I don't think so. It wasn't much in the past few years I went. There is an annual show at the Dulles Expo Center though. Never been to this one as I think it's catered to smaller boats.
 
Years ago, there were 2 shows in the DC area and it's 'burbs. One was the Washington Boat Show, which took place at the Washington Convention Center in downtown Washington, DC. That was the bigger show, but I think it has been gone for a few years. The other show is the "National Capital Boat Show" which does NOT take place in the nations capital. It is held at the Dulles Expo Center out in the 'burbs between Centreville and Chantilly, VA.

This year it will be March 7-9. This show typically gets smaller boats, with a mix of bass boats, fishing boats (center consoles, walk-arounds), ski-boats, bow riders, and small to mid-size cuddies and cruisers. Don't be surprised if the largest boat there is around 34-36 feet.
