I am in a full service yacht club, but have a canal in my neighborhood in Brightwaters Long Island. The slips are real cheep for residents so I thought of taking one just to have it. But problem is that the Canal is without power. The residents on each side have million dollar homes and I guess they have a say in that.
Now, if I did decide to stay in the slip for a couple of days, or maybe even longer, I would need to unload my fridge each time. I do have duel voltage so it could run off of the battery.
Are there mini solar systems for smaller boats just to charge the battery or run some items like a refrigerator?
My boat is an express cruiser so it would need to be small.
