1998 Merc 5.7's FWC w/B2
186 gallon tank Separate fuel feeds from 1 tank. I belive I had 110 gallons (stabilized)gas in tank from the winter. Went out for a crusie apprx. 4 miles. Everything is fine. Next outing, 4 days later. I stop at the gas dock fill up with another 50 gallons.
Cruise to overnight location 21 miles away. While docking at the marina my starboard engine stalls. I restart and dock without incident.
The next day I start the port engine and it dosen't won't to go above idle..... sputter and hestiates when I gingerly throttle up. I finally get going home. 21 Miles later back home both engines now don't want to stay running.
Today I changed the port and starboard filters and added some Star-Brite "Star Tron" Enzyme cleaner to the tank.
Am I on the right track or should I be looking elsewhere?
