noticed today the white plastic gas filter located inside the engine cowl on the main fuel line from the tank, seems to have a bluseish tint inside so Im assuming that its the oil mixed in with the gas but this is located below the oil/gas pump is this normal to see oil in this filter or do i have a bad seal inside this pump?? 1996 evinrude ocean pro 200 hp v6 two stroke outboard I have a sep oil tank and line that feeds this pump..it is below the pump could it be just that when there is not pressure in the system it drips back down into the fuel side????
is this normal??
