Boat is on the hard...

Put 55 hours on her this summer, not bad considering we basically were dock bound since August 27th...

It still sounds better than starting up... Geeze it has sucked so far this year!

Going to the boat tomorrow for the first time since mid July. Supposed to be in the 60s all weekend.

Oil is changed and the Benny is winterized. Planning on taking a cruise tomorrow.

I thought Benny died:)

When are you coming out? I may stop up tomorrow I'll say hello if I do.

We fired up Beeny the other day and no water came out. So I changed the Benny impeller and the main engine impellers. Now we have a new impeller in Benny and the Engines, as well as all new zincs.

Benny can't hold his water now so yes, plenty is coming out. After one season in the Bahamas the impeller coughed up a blade upon start up.

Coming out Thanksgiving weekend. I'll be up there today. Going out to fill up tanks and watch football games.

I think we beat the Benny thing to death. No wait a minute Benny, Benny, Benny, Benny. Ok now I'm done. Went and fueled up today. The river still has a lot of crap in it. My boat has a terrible design. They put the fuel cap right next to the water cap. A couple of years ago, my neighbor who has the same boat put stabilizer in his water so I should have known better but I did the same thing today. I realized my mistake before I drained too much in but it still needed to be flushed. I spent all day today flushing my the tanks. I pulled the lines and drained them into my bilge so I wouldn't have to go through the whole system but what a pain. I guess I deserved it.

Sounds like something I would do.

We're done, the boat has been cleaned out, canvas down, everything winterized but the engines. They are taking it out tomorrow.

Now WTF am I supposed to do?

Beautiful day for a last day I must say I'm a bit jealous.

Had a beautiful ride upriver yesterday, the weather sure is bonus this weekend. But alas, Wake-N-Waves is now sporting her winter cover and was winterized today. Still in the water though so we can spend a night or 2 over the long, cold winter ahead...

Rommer I know many say in water is better and they are probably right but I don't think I would get any sleep if I stayed in.
