Jabsco Toilet Conversion

I have a Jabsco 29200-00120 toilet conversion kit and was having a problem with rinsing with the fresh water, not enough water coming in. I sent for and installed a rebuild kit this past weekend. Now sometimes when I flush the pump just runs and the water won't go out, wait a few seconds (3 to 4) hit the pump again and works fine. Try removing the new joker valve and installing the old and when I loosend the screws the pressure was like a garden hose.

Any suggestions.

Classic description of a plugged-up holding tank vent line. Check that first.

However I checked the vent line and it is clear, no obstructions. Seems like when I flush the bowl it empties then when I rinse I have to wait for the water to stop moving before the flush will work agin.

Then there's goota be a clog or partial clog somewhere between the head and the tank. If you have a "Y" valve, that'd be a likely place to check.

I have a shut-off valve a few feet from the head, I'll chack that this weekend.
