We were at the lake yesterday and my buddy and his wife went on jet skis to look for a spot for the houseboats on the 4th. The admiral and I were reclining reading when I hear his jet ski come screaming in.

He asked me if I would go get his disabled jet ski because he had ran into his wife and "***%!ed her leg up pretty bad". Turns out one thought one was going this way and one thought the other. And they ended up in a near head on crash.

She had a long gash on her shin. It took 17 stiches and some staples. Luckely, no bones were broken. She will be on crutches for a few weeks.

These people are in their early 50s and two of the most sucessful and responsible people I know. Those damn things are dangerous and they may as well be motorcycles, except on a wide road with no lines and nobody needs a helmut and jumping is encouraged. I have looked at getting one , and keep getting closer. I know how I am with motorcycles, so I think I am going to pass on a jet ski.gg
