Is there a way to set the spark advance on a 1990 Johnson GT100 without using a timing light? I had to replace the adjusting lever and I know it is now out of adjustment. My service manual says that "severe damage" may happen if the advance is not set properly with the motor in a tank at full throttle using atiming light. I don't have that capability and I'm hoping there is a way to get it close by feel.
