To see if this forum still works. No posts on the boat that went on fire at Haverstaw because of a wood burning stove, nothing about the barge field the government wants to plant outside our marina. Is there no one out there?

Yes the forum still works but I haven't heard any news other then I stopped at the Marina and they are offering a 2% discount if you pay in full before the 15th and ask for the AARP discount you don't actually need an AARP card just ask them for the discount anyway. We just paid in full this afternoon now we are all the more anxious for Spring to get here! I spoke with Dave and he has a bunch of ideas to hold events and activities next Summer to get people more involved. Dave also told me they got 40 new members storing for the Winter and staying for the Summer the North yard is full and only a few slips available in the West yard business is picking up I can't help but wonder where they are coming from?

Did Dave mention anything about putting lightbulbs in ALL of the power posts? How about fixing up the bathrooms? Any plans to add security cameras?

I think those are more important than "activities...

All good points you should stop by and talk to him! I offered to help with the cameras but I was told they don't want to do business with customers. Whatever it's their loss I just wanted to make sure it was done right! It's not like I have any experience in this field anyway
