We are going to be there. The change in venue will be a lot easier for boaters than those that ordinarily rely on public transit to get to the event. The fireworks won't be as good not being over the city though. I suspect there will be less boats there this year. Looks like the time around the fireworks will be near high tide which helps but the water has good depth there as long as you don't move too close to shore then it is very shallow.
