I have a 1991 Skeeter bass boat that is about to get a keel guard installed on it. There are numerous dings and gouges in it already and I want to protect it from getting any worse.
My question. What should I need to do to "fix" the dings on the keel prior to fixing the keel guard? Last year I replaced the floor in this boat and I have some left over poly resin, but I don't know if I should use it on the point of the keel. It would be covered up the keel guard so it won't look ugly. Thanks for any and all help,
