Anyone have one on their boat? Any feedback?
We're talking an 18' dual console that we use in lakes, ponds, and coastal waters around New England.
Several of the lakes we boat have rocky launch areas and some of them require beaching to load and unload passengers. Plus my boat is older and the keel at the bow was looking pretty rough. My mechanic friend is glassing up some heavy dings for me and suggested a keel guard to protect it going forward. I can't think of any downside, am I missing anything?
