Two possible causes come to mind:
1) stalled ( seized ) motor.
2) You have a short.
That said, without further info, you likely will get no further answers... Tell us more. Make/model is real important, as is what type of system ( Vacuflush, elec head w/ raw/pressurized water flush )
The more you tell us, the closer to the problem we can get. Otherwise we are just plain guessing.

What Bill said above; it's likely a bad motor (assuming that the fuse is of the correct value).

Hey Captin,
I just ran across the same issue. I was told to make sure my impellers are lubed up and to actually pull them out because they tend to swell and sand the end of them just a little. I ended up burning up the motor so I replaced the whole unit, but I know what to do now.
