Hey everyone... I am away on work and was just thinking about installing one of those engine flush kits instead of using the muffs since I once in a while leave the boat overnight in salt water b4 I can flush it.

I was reading around and was curious since im not near my boat to try:

Has anyone ever been able or tried to trim their sterndrive all the way up in the water enough that they could muff flush the engine?

A) Can you trim it high enough?
B) Can you get the muff on while its floating... I dont have a swim platform so I would think I could lean over and reach it.
C) Is it bad to start the engine with the drive fully trimmed up or is that ok?
D) Has anyone done this?

I have a volvo 5.7 with DP drive.

Thanks for the help!

Peter
