So, i am about to buy my first cruiser ever. I am pretty familiar with boats and comfortable running boats, etc. However, i realize this 33' cruiser is a totally different kind of animal than my previous boats. How would i best go about understanding all the systems and how they are hooked up and related to each other. I realize i don't know answers to some pretty basic questions...like will the fridge run all day if not hooked up to shore power and the genset is not on? Does the genset need to be on to heat up the water in the hot water heater? Stuff like that is what i need to really figure out and figure out quickly. Is there a book out there that basically describes how cruiser's systems work? Oh yeah..the boat in question is a Cruisers Yachts, Inc. 3372, model year 2003.
