I can't believe I've gone 2 seasons and the previous owners did not have a waste tank indicator system. I'm tired of 'peeking' inside the tank or trying to gauge the level by just looking at the tank.

I'm planning on installing a Tank Monitoring system this spring. From what I've seen in West Marine's catalogue, there were 3 major brands- Snake River; Material Sciences; Raritan.

They all have 'sensors' that mount external to the tank and have some type of LED indicator.
Snake River is the only one that seems to have a 'single tank' system with 1/4 tank levels and LED- $120. The others have sensors for multiple tanks.

My questions: How good are these systems? How reliable are they? Are thes 'external' sensors reliable? Are Snake River's products good/bad/so-so? Are ther others.

Thanks,
Jack
