Lake Erie Trip

Hi Scokat,
I might suggest the lake erie islands.. but you're talking a several hour trip each way.
Other nice destinations closer to you might include Port Stanley. We've not been there yet, but have been told by many that it's pretty nice there.

Port Stanley in Canada is a very good boating time. The must marina to stay is at http://www.kettlecreekmarina.com/ and ask for Fiona. Great restaurant too and she will know it.
Erie has got Presque Isle ok, cleveland has got rocka nd roll and the flats.
Put in Bay and the western islands have got to be the No. 1 boating destination on the GL. heck of a ride though. I'm at Mentor, about 6h from you and PIB is 3h (70miles) from me.
but if Friday at PIB is not Adults gone wild, i dont know what is.

Leamington is great also. For quiet time you can't beat pelee Island.

Can't remember whether it was beach 11 or beach 10 on Presque Isle that National Geographic described as having one of the 10 most beautiful sunsets in the world.
