I thought the droughts were over out west after about '04 (when I was in Utah). Shows what I know....

We were at Lake Lanier this weekend and I've never seen it so low. We ended up not putting in. It was just too risky.

I saw news stories on Lake Lanier today. Boy theirs is bad. I'm glad ours is being drained on purpose and will be refilled starting in Dec. Should be full by mid Jan.

This is the time you get out your pick and shovel and remove any of those pesky underwater hazards that you've had to avoid for years.

This is horrible. And I thought our lake was bad last year when it was down 13 ft.

We have had record rainfall this year. Our lake was UP 10 ft in the summer and it has finally stabilized at normal pool level. Sorry ;-(

If any of you guys do any treasure hunting this is a great time to break out those magnets. Also a good time for some bridge repair.

There is some nasty stuff under those docks!
