Just thought I would post that I put my boat in New Buffalo this week and the harbor has got good depth throughout. People were hugging the rocks on the north side going in and out, but I never saw any depth under six between the peir heads. The river hit 3.5 a couple of times between the boat ramp and the bridge, but everywhere else is 5 or better. It sure was nice to be out on the lake again. Hope everone has a fun, safe summer!!

Nice to know Danny. Any word on Trail Creek in Michigan City? It was a bit skinny last year.

I have not heard anyone actually in Michigan City, but all of the rumors are that it is more shallow than last year. Nobody knows if they were going to dredge any time soon. I also heard that anyone with a boat slip in St Joe was going to be charged for dredgeing. All is rumor though.

HI, not sure if this helps....heres the latest water level news form the CDN govt. As of April 1, Michigan and Huron are both down 17cm (7inches) from the same date last year (which surprised the heck out me after all the snow this winter!). I tried copying the chart (which is below) but it didnt come out quite right. Hopefully you will be able to 'interpret' the data.
