Just looked at the Seaway vessel transit map and see that 9 vessels in the system are riding out the storm. Glad I'm in the house.

The weather report is for a potential 4 feet of snow for the tug hill area north of Syracuse (30 Miles) by Saturday.

When does the St. Lawrence Seaway close this season?

How did you make out with the snow? We got about 2 inches in Clayton. Southeast of us is getting wacked pretty good. Missing the Lake effect by about 10 miles.

Not too bad. About 6 but it was wet and followed by rain. Didn't get our street plowed till this morning. I tried to go in yesterday but it was whiteout conditions so I turned back. Just a taste of what's to come methinks!

Neither rain, nor sleet, nor snow shall keep Carver from attending work...Haven't missed a day of work since I started with this company...

Well the first storm of the season got my boat tarp and collapsed the 1-1/4" steel pipe frame! *sigh* Guess what I'll be doin' today?

Lets just say I didn't engineer it very well. Too flat. Next year I'll do better! *hehehe*

I hope that as part of your accepting the new position they allow you time off to attend the 2010 get together.

No Problems on the get together...There was plenty of time off negotiated...
