Lake Ontario Cruise

Trip is going well. We have hit a lot of great places and met some fine people along the way.
We even helped a sailboat guy step his mast and learned terms like halyard and shackle. We are back on the US side and plan to be back in Clayton next week. Hope all is well with you and have a great time at the poker run. The 2 jet turbo boats should be competing against each other this year. Did MY Way get his new boat done? Take Care

Glad your trip is going well. Story is that MyWay is done and doing 124mph. should be quite the show with MyWay and Aquamania with his new Turbines both trying for that 125mph mark. I'm going to try and get it on video..
Maybe next time we meet you will be in a sailboat???

No sailboats for us. They are too much work. When we were moving his boat to step the mast it was about 1/4 mile to the crane. I walked and he drove his boat and I beat him there. He said something about headwinds and had the throttle wide open. Then they have all these cables and ropes going every which way. Just too confusing. He said he gets the boat up to 6.7 knots with the right wind and is screaming along(his term). We stayed at one small private marina that had 50 slips. 49 sailboats and us. Talk about being out of place. We were there on a Tuesday which is their race night so I offered to join the race but they wouldn't let me even if I gave them an hour headstart. Oh well, I'm gonna stick with what we have. Turn on the key, hit the throttles and buy gas.

Did ya hit Frenchmans Bay Ray?
