The weatherman is saying snow flurries during the upcoming week so after a Saturday run up through Casco Bay, it was with a heavy heart that I called trailer guy this morning to haul Riverbed to the back yard. Yesterday was spectacular - 55 degrees (both the air and water temperatures), a brisk breeze, 2 to 4 foot seas and visibility that went on forever. You could see the summit of Mount Washington, some 75 miles to the west. This morning was awesome too - but even the leaves across the river will be history in another week.

Even with the gas prices and a lot of crummy weather, it was a pretty good season. The above shot will be a screensaver for the winter and trailer guy has been put on notice that in 24 weeks he's got to come back to get us into the water again. That's 4,032 hours. But who's counting...

Hauling out this Saturday. Haven't used the boat much this Fall. Just a day trip and the two nights over Columbus Day. A great season though. Can't wait till next year!

Thanks Def - saving you some dock space so stop in any time and catch the view for yourself. BTW, you have mail...
Cheers -

OK - 26 degrees this morning and a ton of frost on Riverbed II so at 3:25 this afternoon, we pulled her our, winterized her, washed her down and getting ready for the shrink-wrapper.

Two-hundred ten days in the water. Not a bad season for one with a ton of rain. Dock comes out in 2 weeks and the mooring ball gets dry sometime next month. Anyone else in the water?
