I just bought a 1999 Searay 215EC that has been laid up for the past 2 years. The topsides were pretty chaulky and dull so Sunday I took a wheel to them with 3m Restorer & wax. The color came back and there is a definite glassy shine but umlike my Four Winns I don's see that super reflection. Being that the gelcoat is a pearl, should I expect the same kind of shine as that one a snow white boat or does the pearl obscure it?
One more question, since the topsides are almost all non-skid, any ideas on how best to bring it back?
