Launch Dates

April 15th. My anual screw you tax day lol. Actually talked to the marina and that is the day I'm scheduled.
 
I LOVE THE TOH Dept waterways ....

WE have buoys in Merrick Bay and SEALS ..... Lots of them .

If anyone can get out I highly recc. They are between the bridges ( Wantagh and meadowbrook ) and by Zachs .

I have to put my boat in earlier one year.
Just too damn cold!

Plus ur a flybridge covered in plastic. Get a small electric heater and ur good to go .....
 
Too cold to work on boat not to run.
Have to paint bottom above 50 degrees.
I may do all my spring prep work in the fall this year, so boat is ready to go in.
Plus I like to have boat washed and waxed, we have no water at the marina.

How do you get all the work done?
 
Still on for 4/9......paint or no paint, wax or no wax, ice-snow-rivers of blood.....summers comin' whether it likes it or not...
 
As the boat was painted I didn't wax this year. I went down and washed it 2 weeks ago.

Boat was bottoma painted that warm Saturday . TOPSIDE will be done in future...

Myh Marina is well trained in getting me out of their HAIR

U know the mad rush now once it warms up .... Just sadly the weather still sucks on this coming weekend .

Little boat going in this weekend! Bottom painted and wax below the rub rail. Going to do the topsides when it's warmer.

Hoping to still catch some seals if they are around!
 
Rob - i may go out on a buddy's boat this weekend. Where exactly are the seals? Pics?
 
Got a lot done this weekend.
Wrap is off.
Bimini is up.
Pods are painted.
Props are coated.
Bottom paint, fiberglass work, wash and wax next.

Looks gorgeous. Talk to me about coating the props. Is that only for IPS?
 
No it's prop coat barnacle barrier. Giving it a try this year.
 
Got a good portion of the hull compounded and polished, plenty more to go but should splash within two weeks
 
I am in. New canvas looks great, new cockpit seats coming next week and have to order a new salon AC - does anyone have any gas money to give me? :)
 
Gas money? Sure! I will fill your tanks with gas for you, too bad your diesel!
