My Hynautic Helm started leaking and I bought a seal kit #HS-05 from Boat-Fix. Everything went together real good, but the wheel shaft is binding and hard to turn when I tighten up the four bolts on the assembly. If I back off the bolts sightly, everything is ok. The bolts were very tight when I removed them for the repair.
Note: My helm had the quad ring / o-ring originally, but the new seal kit replaces thoses with just a quad ring.
Has anyone experienced this before? I wanted to finish this weekend, but will not install and bleed unless I know the problem. I assume Teleflex / Hynautic is closed on Sat/Sun.
