Leaking Power Steering Unit

I appear to have a slow leak in my power steering unit (the business end, not the pump). I've noticed some fluid on the inside transom, but it takes awhile to build up. Other than that, the power steering seems to work fine. I've looked at changing out the cylinder, but I value my knuckles too much Has anyone had experience with commercial products that claim to seal power steering leaks?
