Leaving boat in water in SW Florida for 3 weeks

Not to mention the bonus of preventing blisters that you get with the barrier coat that should be applied before any anti-fouling paint.
 
He is keeping on a lift therfore does not need bottom paint that will hurt his economy, speed and appearance of his new boat.

Better check the water temps.

Currently it's way too cold for us good 'ole Florida boys !

Thank you all again for the input, it is appreciated. I may consider bottom paint in the future, although it is doubtful the boat will spend any length of time in the water after this trip. Business requires me to be in Florida in April, but I am going to take a few weeks to enjoy exploring the area while I am there.

RWS, I know it gets cold, but I am used to swimming Lake Ontario which is colder in the summer than Charlotte Harbor is in the winter.

I am really looking forward to this trip, now all I need is to find a reliable Marine mechanic to install a power pole for me.
 
even though my boat is on a lift I like bottom paint just for those times it is in for longer times
