Ever since you brought your boat. I heard they are going to rent out your boat by the hour to bring in so extra revenue. You OK with that right.

If you go to the office they have the post card from when the picture was taken. I have my copy. It's nice to see my "YACHT" looking so good when Victoria Marie had already pulled out. This is what happens when you end the season early. You miss getting your picture taken. LOL

Me too Butch. I tried to get Brandy to clean the pool, but she just does not get it right. Perhaps with a little practice.

Tomorrows a boating day. All of the week-enders will be at work. Nobody to watch when I "bump" their boats.

John, (just curious) the current issue (March) of Boating on the Hudson has an aerial shot of Stony Point Marina from the south looking north. The boat on the end of the T on the south side looks a lot like yours but it's a little hard to tell for sure. Is that your boat?

Yup, if you look close you can see me and Jake up in the bridge.

We are waving hello! ;)

When was that picture taken? There is only one car there and the pool is closed. I thought it was taken in the spring because Starry Night's red boat isn't next to mine.

Looks like it was taken in the fall. My boat is still in the water in that shot and I hauled it 3rd week of October.

Another sign of spring, like seeing your first robin....

Good point Pete, the handles of the carts are facing the boats.

Raises a good debate thou, I've seen some places where everyone seems to push the carts and other areas where they are pulled.

This should help us get thru the next few weeks before boating season starts, are you a puller or a pusher and why?

That picture was taken in the fall, I know because Four Shaw, Victoria Marie, and myself were pulled for the winter at the time of the picture. And the boat next to my slip was not there till the fall, and it is in that picture.

Todd, didn't you get hauled out in August???

It did feel like a short season, by the time I closed on the boat and all the rain we had. Hope it's better weather this season.

I'm a pusher but the wife is a puller either way it works for me.

Depends on the tide. At Haverstaraw it is a long ramp and at low tide the docks are probably 12 to 15 feet below the office deck. If your going down a full cart must be put in front of you and held back as you decend. Going up it must be in front of you and then get a good running start. Once your on the docks, a real man will have his wife handle the cart.

It's 11:15 PM on a Tuesday night. Why the hell would anyone care if you push or pull a dock cart.
