Lewmar v700

the replacement motor I bought last year for my simpson Lawrence sprint 600 failed in less then a year. since they no longer stock parts for it instead of a warranty replacement motor they are offering me 60% off list to upgrade to the lewmar v700. they said it's a bolt in, all controls and all are the same. anyone have an experience with this windlass, good, bad or has done this swap?

FWIW, I had a 600H that also failed, and replaced with a 700H. The 700 is far superior to that POS 600! In roughly 6 years, I've had no trouble whatsoever with the 700.
