My wife and I will be making a quick hop over for an over-night at Liberty Landing this Saturday. Just gonna take a nice boat ride, have dinner, stay over-night and head back on Sunday,

Anything I should know about approach, the marina etc.

Thanks

Easy to get into, look for the big Colgate Clock and go inside the bouys on both sides of the channel.

Straight in to the fuel dock.

After dinner take a walk along the marina down to the river and look at the awesome view of NYC.

I'm down on G dock, I have a party to go to Sat. night but I'll be there after.

Fuel was $3.19 last I looked.

Mark, it’s a great Marina!
If you have time you can take the ferry to Ellis Island and/or the Statute of Liberty from there – as well as the water taxi into NY
We did this last month and did both & had a great time

if you have a garmin unit I can send you my tracks to LL from the sound

Jonathan and Andy - thanks for the information.

Andy - no Garmin but I'm sure we'll be fine. Thanks for the offer.

My wife has a commitment Sat morning and Sunday afternoon so we are going to squeeze this in. So it is literally a boat ride, dinner, maybe some socializing with whoever is around and then hopefully a nice boat ride back.

Nice marina and definitely a place we will go back to when we have more time.

A little pricey but good food at the restaurant and a spectacular view of the city after sunset.

Very clean marina and other than putting me in a slip with only 30 amps, seemed efficiently run.

Didn't do much socializing. Couldn't find Rob and was surrounded by blow boaters who were not conversational but had a nice pleasant evening anyway. ;-)
