Help. What is the technical name for a lien that one would place on a documented vessel if work is done on the boat but not paid for?

On a home it would be a mechanics lien, but I am having a senior moment.

On smaller boats, they "arrest" the entire vessel and seal it up. In Rem means that the boat is being sued as opposed to the owner. This is the problem with maritime liens - they survive a sale. You could buy a boat and be responsible for payment of work done prior to the sale.
