So in the deck boat previous to my cruiser, we never were out in any kind of weather. If it was forcasted bad, we just stayed home or waited it out and/or stayed close to the marina.
With the cruiser we can in theory be out in rain, etc. without any adverse issues since we can just go down below, put the camper top up, etc. However, seems like being out on the water with lightening could be a real risk?? How do you other cruiser owners handle this? We are on an inland lake so not worried about rough water, etc. Treeline is mostly wooded, etc. Main concern would be lightening striking the boat and/or the water.
