Thinking of purchasing a home off of Radio Road. How are the creeks that lead out to Little egg/Barnegat bay under the Great Bay Blvd. Road and south to Great Bay and the inlet to the ocean?

Not bad once you get past the green heads, siquotos, etc. Nice place to pass but wouldnt live there

I have family right off of Radio Rd, by Scotts bait and Tackle. The trip under the bridge from their lagoon is 15 min. If you can't fit under the bridge, you have to take the "round about" (natural channel thru the marsh) This trip takes 25 to 30 min.

The green heads are a bitch, so are the nats. It is also known as "the windy city". Come October, constant wind.

As for the creeks, there are crabs in them. What else do you want to know?

The creeks are deep enough to navigate in a fairly large boat at high tide. You have to pay attention if you draw anything over 3'6" in parts of the creek at low tide. I boat there off of Tuckerton creek we have never bumped yet. All no wake zones. Regards Bill

the route i was interested in knowing about is the creek that called the Big thoroughfare it goes under the the first brigde (great bay blvd). how shallow does that get from the back side of little egg/Big creek area to first bridge and out to little egg/barnegat bay?

thanks
