I'm looking for some suggestions from you guys. The underside of the forward end of my flying bridge structure was covered with some type of textured vinyl product, badly stained, torn, and brittle after 30 years. Most of it pulled off in large sections, and I was able to remove most of the failed adhesive (looks like contact cement) with a wire cup-wheel on my drill. This underneath section is basically unfinished fiberglass roving texture, and I am looking for suggestions on what to cover it with. I'm leaning towards contact-cementing marine grade carpeting, but it may be more difficult than I thought - space kind of tight, long section (9'), not looking forward to the fume headache from the contact cement - any suggestions?
