I have an 18 foot Chaparral that I plan to tow from Tennessee to Northern Michigan. I drive a 2000 Nissan Xterra that has about 130,000 miles on it. Does anyone have any opinions on whether this is a good idea or not? I have only towed it in the past about 20 miles at a time. The trailer has 15" Carlisle tires and I am looking to buy a spare. Any suggestions on tires?? Are Carlisle tires crap??? Thanks!
