Long Island or Palm Beach...

One engine down, alcohol impaired, drop the anchor and wait it out. I'm sure it wasn't imperative that he birth his vessel that early in the morning...coulda, woulda, shoulda.

be interesting to see how his insurance handles it.

The guy sounds like a real class act. Maybe a couple months in jail might teach him a few things.

Wow, just how drunk do you have to be to miss Palm Beach Inlet? That's one of the easiest on the East Coast.

I'm surprised the articles don't mention it is the same guy who over a span of years conned 3 Ferrari dealers into letting him take solo test rides in their new cars, then drove off with the cars not to be seen again.

The last car (F50)was eventually recovered by the FBI from a doctor Baker had later sold it to, & 2 agents moving it from storage then wrapped it into a tree totalling it.

One has to wonder if he actually paid for the beached boat.

I think Dicaprio should play the centra character....

Forgot to mention, the last Ferrari(F50) dealership's insurance company,Algar, which reimbursed them for the loss of the car is suing the Feebs for the reimbursed cost of the car their agents totaled. The Feds refuse.
:)

This is what gives boating a bad name.
Lock this guy up and throw away the key.
What a moron.
Drinking and boating in the ocean.
Doesn't get much dumber!

They will probably have to take a backhoe to that boat unless they secure it and get a good high tide.
I wonder if it's got hull damage.

Idiot!

I love people with a lot of money to burn. As long as they don't hurt anybody, it is fun to watch.

Recipe for Long Island ice tea. In case there is any doubt he was hammered:

1/2 fluid ounce vodka 1/2 fluid ounce rum 1/2 fluid ounce gin 1/2 fluid ounce tequila 1/2 fluid ounce triple sec (orange-flavored liqueur) 1 fluid ounce sweet and sour mix 1 fluid ounce cola, or to taste 1 lemon slice

Jim

Gin rum vodka tequila? Seriously ? That would kill you

We used to drink it back in the day. It is one very sneaky beverage.

It was supposedly invented at the OBI in oak beach Long Island.
