Sitting at anchor in Lake Worth. Moving over to Sailfish on Wed. Looking to cross on Thursday. Crossing at 17 kts. 42 ft Sea Ray Aft Cabin. Anybody else going?

We hope to be in West End by Thursday. Look us up!

I feel abandoned :-( Oh, wait, we left you!

Sorry about that news I just e-mailed you concerning the possible tropical low. We may stick state-side for the rest of our trip. Keeping the gulf stream out of the equation removes quite a bit of stress :-)

Kurt, where are you guys now?

Bob

Bob, we're just N of Lauderdale. We're probably going to pop out the inlet tomorrow and head south. We'll probably anchor a night or two outside of Miami and most likely get into the Keys in a few days (although Bimini/Berrys are still in the discussion).

Personally, I always really enjoyed the Berrys.

Let me know when you head back north. Maybe we can hook up for a beer/dinner.

Bob

Will do, Bob. We need to be back in Fort Pierce around the 22nd of this month.

Hooked up with a Charter Boat Captain that's going over at the same time tomorrow. We'll be in radio contact if needed but the weather looks great so hopefully no need.
Talked to a couple from Maine that crossed over from West End today, arrived here around noon. Said the crossing was easy, 2 foot swells gently rolling, 10 miles from Fl coast it was flat.
Should be better tomorrow.
See ya in the Islands, mate......

Yeah Dan, maybe I can buy you that beer I owe you for helping with my Google Tracks.....

Right now, Thursday looks better than Friday and the S.O. will be happier if we leave West End tomorrow, soooooo....... See you out there!

Downside: We're in the Keys for a few weeks. No Abacos for us this year.

Upside: Verizon 4G service everywhere, $2 per gallon cheaper fuel. No cruising fee ($150 for us in the Bahamas).

We're anchoring and jumping from yacht club to yacht club. Reciprocal agreements are awesome!

Who do you want pictures from, John, Jerry or me?

Lol. Both Kurt! I need a white sand and pretty water fix from somewhere.

John,
Lots of pictures being taken but don;t know how to post on BE. Just go to our blog and follow along as we move down the Abacos. Currently in paradise, I mean Green Turtle Cay. The link is cchafton.blogspot.com
