I have a Sunbrella mooring cover, its 4 years old. In two spots its has stretched and water pools. I have extended the poles as far as I can. How do I shrink the canvas in these 2 areas?

Wash it in the washing machine. Don't ask me how I know!

Wow, I am getting a new Sunbrella Bimini top as my old one shrunk. Will not reach to snap.

Sunbrella quality has gone down in the last 10 years. Maybe they move production to china. I have a 5 year old Bimini that’s getting thin. Also a 7 year old sailcover that’s burned thru and being redone. It used to be good for 10 years…

I bought some snap extenders and first they are cheap and don't snap very well and second the top edge is an 1" away (leaving a 1" gap) from where it needs to be and water runs down the top and then into the cockpit at that last 1" gap.

They sell zipper extenders which is basically a 2" wide piece of Sunbrella with a left half zipper on one side and a right half zipper on the other half. You insert this between two sections of the top

However I have some zippers that needs restitching. The boat top shops want to make new tops or maybe repair tops that they made previously. Not interested in repairing my top.

And waiting list to get your top made.

Given my top is probably the original so 10 years old I felt the best path forward is to get a new top made.

stitching I can do, I was going to do a new onemydels but found a place on ebay for a top for 80 bucks with the boot.
