I got to the boat Sunday morning to get ready for a Father's day cruise with the family to find out someone had broken into the boat. Nothing was stolen. They drank a bottle of water, and slept in one of the cabins. They opened all the drawers, and there was plenty of small tings they could have stolen, but nothing was missing.
I bought a new latch and installed it with a metal backing plate. I also installed an alarm. The marina is in the process of installing security gates, but they won't be finished until the end of this week.
Time to get a pet alligator for the boat....
