Okay, call it paranoia, just replaced the starboard engine and all is well. Port Side got all new exhaust and a new heat exchange. Forgot to "burp" engine after installing heat exchange so basically caused a serious overheat.l;.....so far no issues though.

Okay, so before the above, when I was getting the "good" engine set up while waiting on the deliver of my new starboard side, I noticed that my compression on one cylinder was about 80 versus all of the others at about 120-125. C1984 Crusader 350CID's. So, I figure, maybe just needs to run up a litttle. Add some engine restore etc etc but haven't checked since. Engine hadn't been run all season except for that particular day (no load at all). So, since day one, I've always needed a little additional throttle at load with this engine but chalked it up to throttle set up and or just age (not huge diff3erence).

My concern is that I have a bigger issue here.....anyone know what I should check for? Engine seems to run pretty good, no "odd noises" except a little chatter in the tranny on real low rpm only....meaning "something" ain't perfect with the idle tune...

Should I be ascared?
