Lucky dog

Like most of you with older boats kept in the water, I have my share of aquatic headaches, but I am one lucky dog.

While I was bringing our new old boat from New Bern to Washington, my wife was scarce most of the 5 1/2 hour cruise. By the time we got there, the mold that accumulated had been removed. Much of the upholstery had been detached.

She is still in process, but we now have new dinette seats, new blinds, a new custom mattress cover, a pair of new storage locker doors, a new microwave, and new carpet. Still being made are curtains for the cockpit/salon window/door and the reupholstery of the convertible couch.

On top of that our Bichon Frise puppy has come to love going to the boat and swimming with the Admiral and me.

If only gasoline were free and weekends endless.

Such are the joys

of boat ownership. Once the work is done, you'll only remember how it looks that way & forget about its previous state. By making improvements you're gaining 'ownership'...making it the way YOU want it. It's a great feeling.

HOW MUCH WILL ONE SPEND ON A REUPHOLSTERY JOB ON THECANVERTIBLE COUCH?SHOW OFF SOME PIXS OF ALL YOUR HARD WORK.IT SOUNDS GRATE.THE COUCH AND THE RADAR ON ON THE LIST FOR NEXT YAER.CANT SPEND ANY MORE ON IT NOW.BUT LIKE U WE AER HAVING FUN MAKING IT OWERS.
