Luhrs/Allura 35

[Crossroads]

I've seen a few 1980s model Luhrs/Allura boats that have caught my eye. I know nothing about these boats and I'm very curious if there are any known issues with such things as blisters, decks, or hull. Does anyone know if the hull construction is solid fiberglass or cored?

If I remember correctly from a thread we had some time ago that the Allura hull is cored.

There were also fuel tank issues on some models. I don't remember if it was on this forum but somewhere there is a list of the hull numbers affected.

I liked the look of these boats as well. As I recall, it was inexpensive for its size. I boarded one and was surprised at how soft (springy) the deck felt. A guy had one in my yard for several years (used it a lot and liked it) but he was not an offshore fisherman.
