Major LIS marina to close: Brewer Yacht Haven West

jsut read in trade only today that Brewer's Yacht Heaven West in Stamford is going to close on Oct 31 as a developer has big plans for the land...

too bad, that was a nice and convenient place. they're still going to run the marina on the east branch which isnt' as convenient and has no yard.

I haven't been there is years but it was/is nice that a shame.

That marina is huge, the property is very large for a marina.

All of those boats now looking for a new home.......... I bet you see a jump in prices on the CT side of the river next year. Especially deep water slips that can take all of those big sailboats from Stamford.

What a shame.
